CHÂTEAU MAINE REYNAUD

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

  • Our Château Maine Reynaud is produced on our plots on the Saint-Laurent des Combes plateau - Lieux-dits Le Maine and Reynaud -, in the heart of the Saint-Emilion Jurisdiction.

  • The vines on these 5 hectares are 30 to 35 years old.

  • The soil is sandy clay on the surface, and gravelly in depth. It is the relative lightness of this terroir that gives this vintage all its finesse and elegance.

  • The grape varieties are largely dominated by Merlot (75%), supplemented by Cabernet Franc (25%).

  • This St Émilion Grand Cru is aged for 12 months in fine-grained French oak barrels before being bottled on the property.

  • This timeless vintage, our core range , produces on average 20 to 25,000 bottles.

  • Tasting: Full-bodied but not astringent; elegant and very versatile for food and wine pairings.

  • Vintages available: 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.

All vintages are gold medalists.
