CHÂTEAU MAINE REYNAUD 2018

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

  • This 2018 vintage is the first of a magnificent trilogy 2018, 2019, 2020.

  • In this blend, Merlot is clearly in the majority (85%), and is complemented by Cabernet Franc which brings freshness and aromatic complexity (15%).

  • A year of aging in 225-liter Bordeaux barrels gives it the roundness and lightly toasted vanilla notes that give it its charm.

  • This vintage produced 23,000 bottles.

  • Tasting: purple-red color; pleasantly vanilla nose on a background of black and red fruits with brioche notes; a beautiful tannic structure develops in the mouth with a lovely sweet finish.

  • Guaranteed indulgence for the entire meal and all palates.

  • Service: to reveal all its aromas, this vintage should be opened one hour before serving, and if possible, decanted. Optimum serving temperature: 18°C.

  • Peak: 2023 > 2028.
