LES BRUMES
Monbazillac
_edited.jpg)
Sémillon 70% - Muscadelle 30%
-
The Les Brumes cuvée is a sweet wine made with grapes affected, as in Sauternes, by noble rot, botrytis cinerea. These berries are harvested by hand in successive selections under the mists of October - November.
-
All the vines that produce this vintage are over 70 years old.
-
This Monbazillac remains fruity with aromas of honey, citrus, apricot and pineapple. It retains a nice freshness and a very good sugar/acidity balance.
-
Les Brumes will be wonderful as an aperitif and to accompany plain or salad fruits, slightly acidic desserts (lemon tart) or bitter (dark chocolate), Asian cuisine, and blue cheeses.
