FRUISSANCE
Bergerac Rouge

Merlot 90% - Malbec 10%
-
The Fruissance cuvée is a red from the Bergerac appellation whose vines grow on the clayey hillsides on karst limestone of the property. As its name suggests, it is a very fruity wine with dominant aromas of fresh berries such as blackcurrant and raspberry.
-
The production of this vintage is designed to preserve the fruit aromas by cold pre-fermentation maceration followed by a short vatting period of around 10 days and aging in stainless steel vats for a few months.
-
On the nose, the aromas of black fruits (dominantly blackcurrant) mingle with the aromas of red fruits (dominantly raspberry) on some peppery notes. The palate is not devoid of breadth.
-
Fruissance is ideal to accompany cold meats and grills, light and summer meals for example, but also poultry, pasta dishes and soft cheeses.
