● Culture: Château Le Maine 2020 was produced on a 4-hectare plot on the St-Laurent des Combes plateau - Lieu-dit Le Maine -, in the heart of the Saint-Émilion jurisdiction.
● The soil is sandy-clayey on the surface, and gravelly in depth.
● The property has been using sustainable farming methods for a very long time; it is now HVE4 and Terra Vitis certified, and has just completed its organic conversion.
● Grape varieties: largely dominated by Merlot (85%), supplemented by Cabernet Franc (15%).
● Aging: This St-Émilion Grand Cru was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels before being bottled at the property in June 2022.
● Production: This vintage produced 21,000 bottles.
