LES HALDES DE LUCHEY
Pessac-Léognan

Les Haldes de Luchey is the second wine of Château Luchey-Halde, a 23-hectare property in the commune of Mérignac.
The vines flourish on a splendid terroir of gravel mixing pebbles, gravel and clay.
Cabernet Sauvignon dominates the grape varieties (55%); it is complemented by Merlot (35%), Cabernet Franc (5%), and Petit Verdot (5%).
The wines are aged in Bordeaux barrels for one year.
A deep purple red, this wine presents aromas of intense red fruits (blackcurrant, raspberry, cherry stone) on the nose. On the palate, the attack is supple with peppery notes. The palate is round, the tannins are silky. We find notes of fresh fruits in the middle of the palate. A woody touch on the finish carried by a beautiful tannic structure .
