LES BRUMES DE LA TOUR BLANCHE
Sauternes

First Grand Cru Classé in 1855
-
The vineyard draws its quintessence from a gravelly ridge which covers a clay-limestone subsoil.
-
At La Tour Blanche we find the traditional Sauternes grape varieties, namely Sémillon (80%) which provides structure, aromas of dried fruits, candied fruits and honey, Sauvignon (15%) which provides freshness and finesse, and Muscadelle (5%) which enhances the blend with the very specific aromatic touch of this grape variety.
-
Fresh and light like the mists of Sauternes, this wine is characterized by a beautiful structure with moderate sweetness, great aromatic purity and a very pleasant liveliness, which make it a wine full of balance and fruitiness, ideal as an aperitif, to be enjoyed chilled.
-
The color is a beautiful straw yellow with golden highlights. The nose opens with notes of white flowers, exotic fruits and citrus fruits. The palate combines sweetness and freshness with notes of grapefruit and bergamot.
