CHÂTEAU GRAND BARIL
Montagne Saint-Émilion

Château Grand Barril is produced on the 28 hectares of the Lycée viticole de Montagne, within the eponymous appellation, 10 km from the village of Saint-Emilion.
The vines have an average age of 29 years. They flourish on a lovely sandy loam terroir.
Merlot is largely in the majority (86%), supplemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon in equal parts (7%).
Deep, garnet red color, with ruby highlights. Seductive nose of ripe red and black fruits, some spices. The whole is delicious, crisp, balanced, and wrapped in lovely tannins.
